Design wooden round windows with cut files and a glass order
Prakobd designs round wooden windows, from a fixed glazed light to a window with a half-round opening sash. Enter the diameter and choose the mullion pattern and which side the sash opens. The software builds a 3-layer wooden frame with jigsaw joints, a glass rebate, a trim and a recessed hinge. You get DXF, SVG and G-code files and a glass cutting order with a full-size DXF. What do I get?
Wood dividers and opening doors
Choose no dividers, a cross, a vertical divider with a crossbar, vertical only, or horizontal only. The opening sash swings out on the left or right half, with 3-inch hinges set into grooves, and you can open the sash in the 3D view.
Glass and trim
Glass goes in from the outside and is held with wood trim and silicone. You get a glass cutting order with a 1:1 DXF to send to the glass shop, or choose acrylic and have it cut in the same files.
Ready to install against the wall
Screw pilot grooves are in the middle ring layer. Drill through on site along the pilot grooves, and the drawing gives the wall opening size to prepare, with allowance for foam or silicone around the ring

Choose a Ø100 cm opening round window, a Ø80 cm 4-pane cross window or a Ø60 cm fixed glass light.
- Enter dimensions and wood
Enter the diameter. The example uses 20 mm rubberwood finger-jointed board; you can change the material and enter the measured thickness and bit
- Choose a compartment and door layout
Choose the dividing bars, the opening-sash side, the number of bars per tier, the frame width, and glass or acrylic.
- Download files and glass order sheets
Review cautions such as a rabbet too shallow for glass plus trim, or a curved piece longer than the sheet, then download the production pack

What sizes of round window can it make?
The template is designed for circles Ø40–150 cm. If you enter a size outside this range, the program warns you to check the strength and part sizes yourself, and warns when a curved segment is longer than the material sheet
How do I order glass cutting?
The file pack includes a glass cutting order giving the shape and size of each opening, plus a 1:1 DXF with clearance around the glass already allowed for, ready to send to the glass shop.
Can I use acrylic instead of glass?
Yes. Choose acrylic and the clear panel is included in the cut files. You can set the glass or acrylic thickness, and the program warns you if the rebate is not deep enough
How is the window fixed to the wall?
The middle ring layer has screw pilot grooves all around. After the outer and inner layers are glued on, drill through the remaining wood along the pilot grooves to fix the frame before fitting the glass and trim. The drawing gives the wall opening size to prepare
