LNC ATC

G-code for ATC CNC machines with an LNC controller

Prakobd has an LNC ATC post that follows a real LNC machine's post set line by line. You get one program per sheet, and the machine changes bits by itself according to the T number, with G43 H for tool length compensation. Operations run in the order drilling → grooving → cutting through, with the part-cutting bit working last. Work that needs grooving on the back is split into a separate flip-the-sheet program.

What do I get?

One program per sheet

Automatic tool change with M5 M06 T M3 S and G43 H in a single file, no need to run several files

Matches the T number on the magazine

Set up your bit set with T numbers matching the tool slots in your machine. The app picks the bit that fits each job.

Two-sided work

Grooves or patterns on the back of a part are split into a separate flip program. Run it first while the sheet is still whole, then flip the sheet and cut the parts out.

The whole production set

The sheet layout, part labels, cut list and assembly steps come from the same job as the G-code

Workflow

  1. Choose the M6 & LNC ATC post

In the export step, set up your CNC machine and choose M6 & LNC ATC. Enter the bits with T numbers as on the magazine, plus speeds, spindle rpm and the file extension your machine reads.

  2. Check the nesting

See every sheet and the warnings, such as a bit that is too big for a slot

  3. Load the program into the machine

Download one sheet at a time or the whole set, then send the files to the machine by USB or network

  4. Set the origin and run

Set G54 to match the file header, place the sheet as shown in the layout, then run the single program from start to finish.

Production file cost from real examples

Designing, viewing in 3D and viewing the nesting are free. You pay credits when you download the production file pack (ZIP), which is charged by the number of sheets and parts in the job.

Who it's for

  • Nesting ATC machines with an LNC controller
  • Cabinet factories that cut many sheets a day and don't want to stop to change bits
  • For controllers other than LNC, choose your own machine when exporting (e.g. CNC-ATC Syntec / Fanuc or Centroid), or send your machine's post setup to the team to look at

Frequently asked questions

What does the production file cost for LNC ATC?

Design for free. You pay credits when you download the production file pack (ZIP), charged by the number of sheets and parts in the job. Example: Kitchen 2.4 m + stone countertop 308 credits (≈ 616 THB) · Wardrobe 2 doors 131 credits (≈ 262 THB) · Wall panel Upright arch pattern 60 credits (≈ 120 THB)

What does the LNC ATC post contain?

Follows a real LNC machine's post set line by line. The file header is % O1234 G90 G49 G40 G80 G54 and it ends with G80 M5 M30.

Do other ATC brands work?

If your controller is LNC, you can use it. If it's Syntec or Fanuc, choose the CNC-ATC (Syntec / Fanuc) machine and do a dry run before the first job, or send a post setup or a sample file that your machine runs to us on LINE @ndssoft

How do I set the T numbers?

Put the bits in the bit set with T numbers that match the slots in the machine's magazine, save it as My machine, and reuse it for every job
