15.9% fewer sheets (measured)
Measured on the 183 CNC examples in Prakobd: true-shape nesting uses 650 sheets versus 773 when parts are laid in rows the way a sheet is marked out by hand, and Prakobd always keeps whichever layout uses fewer sheets.
Nesting ATC machines
CNC Nesting ATC machines (1325 or 1530 table with a tool magazine) are widely used in cabinet factories in Thailand. Most come from China and use controllers like NcStudio, Syntec, LNC or DSP. Prakobd designs a cabinet from its dimensions, nests parts onto sheets by true shape and grain direction, then outputs G-code for the controller (LNC ATC, Syntec / Fanuc ATC, NcStudio, DSP and others) along with layered DXF, part labels and a cut list. Check the controller name on the machine screen to choose the machine when exporting

Keep your offcuts in the offcut inventory. Prakobd nests parts on offcuts of the same board and thickness before opening a new sheet, parts cut from offcuts cost no credits (up to half of the job), and "Cutting done" keeps what is left as new offcuts.
The same machine brand may use different controllers. Check the name on the screen or in the manual, then choose that machine when exporting. The file is written the way that controller reads it. Or use DXF with the CAM software that comes with your machine
Curved and notched parts are nested by their true shape with the wood grain direction locked. It shows the sheet count and the percentage of area used, and you can preview it free before downloading.
Each label shows the part code, job, size, edges banded and a QR code. Print them on stickers and put them on the parts right after cutting.
Kitchen sets: multiple built-in cabinets, L-shaped layouts and wall cabinets, exported together as one set. Set the number of sets if you make the same job for several rooms.
Designing, viewing in 3D and viewing the nesting are free. You pay credits when you download the production file pack (ZIP), which is charged by the number of sheets and parts in the job.
| Example | Sheets | Parts | Credits | ≈ THB (regular pack) | ≈ THB (first big-pack top-up) |

It depends on the controller, not the machine brand. Choose the machine by its controller name when exporting; there are 12 to choose from, such as LNC ATC, Syntec / Fanuc ATC, NcStudio, DSP, Mach3 and GRBL. If yours isn't in the list, use DXF or send your post setup to the team
